Small on size BIG on service.

On Bowen Island there is a tiny secret, and when I mean tiny - it really is.
It's the worlds smallest candy shop - so says the owner.

I can't believe I have been to Bowen several times and missed this gem. With kids in tow of a sunny boating day it took them only a few minutes to find the shop when we exited the marina for main street.

The shop is about the size of a storage closet and has room inside for no more than 2 people at a time - thus creating a lineup (brilliant).  When you enter the shop you don't feel crowded or rushed - the shop owner immediately enguage you with a warm welcome. Of course you can find all your favorite candies along with some rare treasures and nostalgic finds.

Best of all was the the nostalgic theme song music playing from a small speaker. The shop owner plays a game with you that if you can guess the name of the theme song while you are in the store he will give you 3 salt water taffy candies. The theme songs ranged from Happy Days to Magnum PI, Love Boat and Ali Mcbeal. There is a joke in there somewhere that only adults could ever guess the theme songs due to the nostalgic nature.

An excellent marketing and customer service tactic to enguage customers young and old. I'm happy to say I guessed Ali Mcbeal and received my 3 candies.

Cheers
