This weekend Sandy and I took our eldest boy to Science World for his birthday party. They do a great job entertaining the kids with lots of experiments and cool challenges. After the party, all the guests are free to use the Science World facilities for the remainder of the day. The cost of admission was not much less than the cost per head for the party, so that was great value!
A couple of neat things at Science World were the whole section dedicated to recycling and renewable energy. The kids loved the interactive displays. But the thing that caught my eye the most was actually not part of any exhibit. It was the hand dryer in the bathroom. This new dryer by Dyson (same company as the vacuum on the ball) really works! I hate the old hand dryers with the noisy motor and big blasting nozzle. It just isn't effective.
